Ginger and Digestive Health

Ginger is wonderful for your digestion! It has been used for thousands of years to treat morning sickness, motion sickness, and nausea. Ginger helps relax the smooth muscles of the digestive tract and helps food move along, thereby easing constipation. By regulating your digestive system, ginger helps your body absorb more nutrients. Ginger has also been long known to heal ulcers. Ginger is also a highly effectual treatment for GERD.

Ginger and Cancer

Over 200 studies have shown that ginger has anticancer properties! It has been found to be effective in mice against ovarian and colorectal cancers. The best way to take it is in a tea, powder, or essential oils.

Ginger and Heart Health

Ginger improves cardiovascular health. Its properties are especially potent for heart health when you combine it with heart-healthy garlic and onions. They help to keep your blood from clotting, which helps prevent heart attacks and strokes.
