Good Mood Food + Recipes

10/25/2016

We all know that eating fruits and veggies is good for our long-term health, but did you know it can actually help you feel happier in the here and now? A recent study out of Australia studied over 12,000 people and they can up with some pretty astounding findings!

The more veggies you eat, the happier you are!
The study found that eating 8 servings of fruits and veggies a day gave the most benefits. In fact, those who went from no servings of fruits and veggies to 8 servings had an improvement in their happiness equivalent to getting a new job. Conversely, those who went from lots of servings of fruits and veggies to nearly none, had a loss of well-being equivalent to losing a job! Even adding 2 servings a day can increase your emotional well-being by 25%! In fact, each serving of fruits and veggies that is added to your daily diet increases your well-being up to 8 servings a day!

So, eat a salad today, have a fruit smoothie, try a new veggie side dish, or drink some freshly squeezed veggie juice! If you would like to be coached on how to integrate more fruits and vegetables into your daily routine, try out my Free, No-Obligation Discovery Session!

Thanks for helping me understand that eating 8 servings of fruits and vegetables a day would give the most benefit. I guess it would really help me to see a diet coach to understand more of what my body needs. It's because I can't understand why I am still gaining weight even if I eat very little for the past three months.
