Do you enjoy delicious pasta with a creamy sauce? I do! I had been seeing recipes for noodles made with zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots and more. I wondered what they were like, but didn't have a spiralizer. Thankfully, my sister came to the rescue!
Christmas came around and my sister asked for my wish list. I included this Spiroslicer on my Christmas list and got it! (I must have been good last year!) Now keep in mind, when you are choosing a spiralizer, that this one is completely manual. Its a bit of an arm workout, but not too bad! If you don't want to work that hard for your noodles, try an electric one or one that attaches to your Kitchenaid Stand Mixer.
I found this amazing recipe for Zucchini Noodles with Creamy Avocado Pesto on Eat Yourself Skinny. Aside from making the noodles, it was quite simple. You only have to cook the zoodles for a few minutes to get them tender, then add as much sauce as you like on your zoodles! So yum! Even my husband, who is not a huge veggie lover, loved this and requested it be on permanent rotation on my menu.
